Glacial Shards are a type of resource found in the Permafrost biome. Most commonly found in the underground caverns, they are usually mixed in with other ore like Shapestone, Infinium, and Formicite. Glacial shards will always drop at least one or more upon being mined, and have a very rare chance to drop Ice Dragon Egg Fragments.
Glacial Shards are a type of ore and do receive Tuesday's Daily Bonus, however they are not considered shards even if the name of the item has the word "shard" and therefore do not get Friday's Daily Bonus of Shards.
